Starting stopped s bug 2c2p6w
Hi,
Ran into what appears to be a bug with queuing up a bunch of s on start "Manually", then clicking the "Start all s" button. It will start them all, but will not actually anything until I stop all but 1. I then have to go through the list starting and waiting for each one to complete individually.
I have encountered this twice, once when ing files off from an ftp site, and again when trying to queue up and a bunch of Microsoft C++ redistrib installers. I can't think of any time in which this has worked after updating FDM to latest available version.
Running Windows 7 32-bit SP1, Firefox 15.0.1, FDM 3.9.1 BETA build 1268. FDM traffic mode was set for Heavy/Manage automatically.
The only settings I have altered are as follows:
Let me know if anything is unclear or you need additional info.

- Default Settings -> Connection -> Sections -> Maximum number: 5
- Connection Speed: Manually set to 2200 kB/s
- Light Mode -> Restriction of traffic: 3%
- Medium Mode -> Restriction of traffic: 10%
- Changed default folder to Win 7 default s folder
- Created new group and set its default folder to another location (this group was not used in either situation)
- Closed the ing progress window and told it to never show again on the first

FotS, if it worked on the released version (3.9 build 1249), why not go back to that? I suggest you post this in the Beta thread above. In general I do not run a Beta unless I am testing or looking for a special function. Enjoy, J.
Re: Starting stopped s bug 642r1l
FotS, I tried three C++ Redists on IE9 with FDM 3.9 build 1249 and it worked fine. Unfortunately the file names are all the same, and failed to change them, so I got ...(1) etc. Enjoy, J.

Yeah, I just tried ing a couple updated versions of Verizon Access Manager for some of the various air cards that are floating around this place, only this time I left it to automatic. But as soon as it started ing a second one while one was in progress, both stopped.
I'm not rolling back to the previous version just yet as the whole point behind having the BETA is testing for bugs.
Maybe I should've posted in the BETA thread, but it seemed to me like it was getting very long.
Also to note, I've updated FF to 16 just before trying the VZ Access Manager s.

Re: Starting stopped s bug 642r1l
Well, I've fixed it. Required uninstalling/reinstalling FDM. Must've been something that got screwed up when updating the versions.
