What I personally had noticed after using FDM for sometime now is, after building multiple connections during s specially in large files 1GB and up. After connections finish ing parts of the file, then they drop and aren't reused or new ones are built to keep ing other parts/segments of the file which will improve the completion. Most of the times I've started ing files which will built up to 15 connection counts, and after each one completes its segment they start dropping down until only 1 connection count is used and still the file ing process might be half way completed.

I use FDM in MacOS by the way. Perhaps, the way it works is differently to Windows OS. I can't tell if in Windows it does the same thing, however that's the behavior I personally notice when using it on this platform. Hopefully this can be improved in future updates, so FDM can be more dynamic when it comes to reusing connections or intelligently building new ones if there's still a fair amount of the file to be ed.

Hey, so I managed to caught one of the two issues which seems to be the momentarily progress complete stops. Hence, this doesn't happen all the time it's mainly random and not related to that website only or file. I've noticed this in other websites as well. It's just random when it happens and in different %. Also, you can see where this file only opened 3 connections max and after it continued the process from the temp freeze it dropped to two. So, you can see the connection counts are not always created to the default max value of 15.

One thing I wanted to point out is that these temporary freeze only started happening with the latest build you guys released 6.24.0.5818

I can reproduce neither of these issues. I don't think it's caused by 6.23/6.24. It can be something in your system. Nevertheless, I can send you 6.22. But first, could you please send me FDM's crash report (you can copy it from macOS system dialog which is shown when FDM is crashed) ?

Sure bro but I'm using clenmymacX which cleans all log files,
when it crashes again I will send it to you before it's deleted

This is not FDM issue. It seems it's cloudflare "protection" in action. I've found that it's working when the is transferred from Firefox web browser. And it's not working when it's transferred from Google Chrome browser. I don't know why and I have no time to investigate further. All I can tell is that everything seems to be working fine from FDM side.

Are you the who wrote about this issue to our recently? Maybe this issue is caused by update to Qt 6.7.2 (if the previous Qt 6.6.3 was working fine for you and you did not change anything in your system). And, unfortunately, you're the only with this issue among our s (by the moment).
The only I can suggest you for now is to try to fix it on your own. There must be something in your system which causes this issue to happen.
I don't even want to report it to Qt authors because (from my experience) the chances for it to get fixed are very low in such a case.

I've tested even with a fresh install in other PC and the issues occurs there too, both systems have AMD U, one a bit old and the other one is newer with a Ryzen U.

FDM 6.24.2.5857 was removed from my PC by Microsoft Defender. It accuses Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml. Windows 10 Pro fully updated here.
I needed to rollback to version 6.22.0.5714.
